Assistant Director of Nurisng (ADON) Job Specification:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a critical role in the overall management of our healthcare facility. This position collaborates closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ADON assists in the supervision of the nursing staff and helps maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Assistant Director of Nurisng (ADON) Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and management of all nursing and clinical services.
- Supervise and support the nursing staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans for residents and patients.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' conditions and provide guidance on appropriate care.
- Assist in the recruitment, orientation, and training of new nursing staff.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Address and resolve any nursing-related issues or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Assistant Director of Nurisng (ADON) Qualifications:
- Current, valid RN license in the state of Ohio.
- With relevant experience and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
