The Opportunity:
- Communicates with team leaders daily to ensure all team leader tasks are completed and team leaders understand their priorities
- Understands and communicates revenue cycle including medical necessity, authorization, and other complex denials
- Motivates and manages teams to achieve monthly team revenue goals within virtual business office environment
- Reviews high dollar and aged accounts to ensure efficient revenue cycle recovery; assess argument based on medical necessity from the review of the medical record
- Communicates recent payer resolution trends to Director and clients
- Identifies and evaluates resolution of underlying complex denials to obtain timely payment of claims for clients
- Communicates and implements client specific protocols and procedures
- Manages variety of teams with inventories made up of diverse clients and complex denials
- Conducts meetings and trainings through Teams to provide direction and focus to team members
- Reviews and assess reports to meet internal and client expectations
- Attends client meetings as needed
What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years' experience with revenue cycle management, appeals writing, and all available payer resources
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a management position
- High School diploma or GED required (bachelor's degree preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple team inventories on a micro and macro level
- An understanding of debt collection rules and regulations
- Adherence to HIPAA requirements
