ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Diagnoses and repairs issues in RTU’s, boilers, split systems, mini splits

·         Performs leak detection, charges and recovers refrigerant

·         Troubleshoots and repairs with limited oversight

·         Performs start-ups

·         Prepares for more complex systems and commercial equipment

·         Document service work carried out

Physical Requirements:

You’ll be performing hands-on work and repairs, which will include:

• Getting up on rooftops (via ladder) to access HVAC equipment.
• Loading and unloading tools and equipment from your work van.
• Lifting up to 75 lbs on occasion, and up to 25 lbs overhead.
• Climbing ladders and extending reach overhead as part of your daily tasks.

Qualifications:

•              8+ years of HVAC technician experience
•             Understands 25 ton and above commercial equipment
•             Ability to communicate findings clearly
•             Maintains compliance with EPA section 608 certification requirements
