The Breakfast Chef de Partie 

The Breakfast Chef de Partie at Sea Containers Hotel plays a key role in the culinary team, specializing in breakfast preparation and service. This position involves assisting in the execution of breakfast menus, managing a specific section of the kitchen, and ensuring the high-quality and timely delivery of breakfast dishes. The role will report directly to the Sous Chef and will have a dotted reporting line to the Head Chef at the location the position is based at

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute breakfast dishes to established recipes and standards
  • Lead and manage a section during breakfast service, supervising junior chefs
  • Ensure high levels of food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Support menu development and execute dishes in line with senior chef direction
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth service
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory checks
  • Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and health & safety compliance
  • Interact positively with guests to enhance the breakfast dining experience

About You

  • Previous experience in a hotel or high-quality breakfast kitchen environment
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Confident communicator and supportive team leader
  • Passionate about food, detail, and guest experience
  • Experience within luxury or lifestyle hospitality preferred
