Role Overview

The Senior Technical Sales & Support Specialist provides advanced technical and sales support for conformal coatings and related products across the EMEIA region. Reporting to regional leadership, this role serves as a key technical resource for customers and distributors, supporting product application, trials, training, and commercial growth through deep application expertise and customer engagement. 

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales Support & Customer Engagement

  • Provide expert technical support to direct customers and distributors for conformal coatings, potting, encapsulants, thermal management products, and adhesives.
  • Support sales initiatives through technical consultation, customer visits, and on‑site application support. 
  • Conduct coating trials and demonstrations using automated application equipment (Nordson, TTnS, PVA). 

Distributor & Territory Management

  • Manage assigned distributors across the EMEIA region, supporting both technical and commercial objectives. 
  • Identify growth opportunities and support initiatives to expand market share. 

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Product Support

  • Collaborate with laboratory, R&D, quality, and commercial teams to resolve customer application issues and quality complaints. 
  • Support new product introductions and provide field feedback to inform product development. 

Training, Documentation & Thought Leadership

  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, training materials, and media for customers, distributors, and internal teams via the HumiSeal Coating Academy. 
  • Author technical articles, white papers, and blogs in support of marketing and brand positioning. 
  • Maintain CRM records and provide visit and application reports to regional management. 

Qualifications

  • Degree‑level education in organic chemistry, electronics, or a related technical discipline. 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the coatings or specialty chemicals industry. 
  • Strong knowledge of SMT electronics production and polymer‑based coatings and adhesives. 
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Preferred: French or German language capability.
