SUMMARY

As an Estimator, you�ll determine repair scope, cost, and timelines, negotiate with insurers, and clearly communicate with customers. You�ll be the bridge between the teardown bay and final delivery�keeping repairs accurate, on time, and on budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Examine damaged areas to determine repair, replacement, or refinish needs.

• Assess vehicle damage through detailed inspections.

• Estimate labor and parts costs to repair the vehicle.

• Prepare insurance forms and documentation to support the repair estimate.

• Communicate professionally with customers about damage, costs, timelines, and insurance questions.

• Draft work orders with required repairs and enter them into CollisionRight�s system.

• Maintain organized, accurate repair records in company files.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Pennsylvania Physical Damage Appraiser�s License (Required).

• Solid knowledge of collision repair processes, techniques, and materials; 1�3 years of collision/estimating experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of vehicle structure and component R&R (doors, glass, fenders, etc.).

• Consistent adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

• Sharp attention to detail; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs routinely and occasionally 70+ lbs; agility for climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing as needed.

• Strong hand/arm/finger dexterity and reach.

• Proven negotiation skills and a customer-first mindset.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
