    Preschool/Early Learning Lead – 3-Year-Old Class (Full-Time)

    Schedule: 6.5 hours per day

     

    About the Role

     

    St. Thomas More School is hiring a Preschool Lead Teacher for our 3-year-old classroom. We’re looking for someone who brings structure, warmth, and faith to a classroom of joyful, curious, and growing learners. This role is ideal for an early childhood educator who views teaching as a ministry and has the experience to lead a classroom with confidence, purpose, and love.

     

    Qualifications

     
    • AA degree required; BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

    • Experience planning and leading activities for 3–5-year-olds

    • Strong understanding of child development and early learning benchmarks

    • Ability to create and maintain a safe, structured, and loving classroom

    • Skilled in communicating with young children, parents, and colleagues

    • Highly organized, dependable, and able to take initiative

    • Lead and manage the 3-year-old classroom and daily routines

    • Model and promote the Catholic identity and mission of the school

    • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment

    • Work collaboratively with aides, other early learning teachers, and administration

    Salary

     

    $19–$20/hour

     

    Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
