Food & Beverage – Food and Beverage Manager  

 

Department / Division / Section:

Food & Beverage – Feeding Frenzy

 

Reports To:

Director of Food & Beverage / Assistant General Manager

 

Job Summary / Essential Functions:

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall operation, staffing, supervision, and performance of the Feeding Frenzy Restaurant and associated food service outlets, including carts and food storage and preparation areas. This position ensures high standards of guest satisfaction, food quality, sanitation, staff training, and cost control while maintaining compliance with company policies and all applicable health department regulations. Training and development of staff is a top priority of this position.

 

Overview:

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks:

- Oversee daily operations and cleanliness of the Feeding Frenzy, Donut Cart, Dining Room,  and related food storage/preparation areas.

- Develop and implement proper staffing plans and employee schedules

- Work varying days and shifts as required

- Recruit, train, and acclimate new employees

- Inspect employees prior to shifts for dress code and safety compliance

- Maintain sanitation and food safety standards

- Train employees in food production methods and production levels

- Assist with and oversee monthly food inventory

- Supervise daily job assignments to ensure guest satisfaction

- Coordinate Donut carts and seasonal food outlets

- Support inventory control, menu planning, and cost management

- Assist with budget development and management

- Ensure proper cash handling procedures

- Utilize computer systems and spreadsheets for reporting

 

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

- Must be able to work with kitchen equipment

- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3–7 years food and beverage management experience

- Leadership experience in restaurant or attractions environment

- Staffing, scheduling, and training experience

- Knowledge of inventory, food cost, and labor control

- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Computer and spreadsheet proficiency

- Cash handling experience

 

Language:

Fluent in English
