Duties

The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Program Management Specialist (Deputy Director), GS-0301-15 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Oversee the design, development, continuous improvement, and implementation of the Executive Correspondence (EC) and Policy and Regulatory Clearance (PRC) functions. Determine strategies for achieving programmatic objectives and analyzes problems requiring the development of creative and pioneering solutions. Assist the Director, ORMP, by providing leadership and overseeing all functions of the Executive Secretariat (ES) program. Perform the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised. Provide advice and guidance to the ORMP Director and to subordinate staff on broad projects and programs within Department of Justice.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Supervisory Program Management Specialist (Deputy Director, Executive Secretariat), at GS-0301-15 you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below. Specialize Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service, which includes: Developing policies, processes and/or procedures that improve the flow of communications within the agency; Assessing the efficiency or effectiveness of Executive Secretariat programs; and Developing strategies to resolve issues that impact Executive Secretariat program goals or objectives. You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade, by 05/18/2026 of this announcement.
