Job Summary:  

The Management Analyst supports Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) program and management offices by gathering, maintaining, and analyzing organizational data to assist in management analysis, program review, and operational planning. The incumbent compiles reports, reviews management documents, and prepares analytical products to support decision-making at the program and division levels.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain, gather, and compile records of organizational charts, workflow diagrams, staffing levels, mission and function statements, program resource utilization, and internal audit reports.
  • Review reorganization requests, performance and management indicator reports, and program improvement suggestions for appropriate format, completeness, and required information.
  • Explain reporting procedures and requirements to operating officials and program staff.
  • Compile and distribute reports on proposed program goals, budgets, staff levels, and performance criteria for operating officials' review and comment.
  • Make and verify routine calculations such as standard cost estimates, production rates, staff hours, and workload figures.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and narrative summaries for management or program analysis reports using material provided by senior staff.
  • Assist senior analysts in conducting studies of employee and organizational efficiency and productivity.
  • Support development of procedures and systems for administrative controls.
  • Research program and administrative reporting systems under senior guidance.
  • Perform other management analysis and data compilation tasks as directed by the COR.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum education requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, management, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in management analysis, program evaluation, or administrative support in a federal or professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ability to create charts and graphs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail in data compilation and reporting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to prepare clear, concise analytical reports.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with program staff and management.
  • Experience supporting federal government program offices or management offices.
  • Familiarity with federal performance management frameworks (e.g., GPRA, OMB Circular A-11).
  • Experience with data visualization tools or analytical software.
