Job Description

Woundlocal is seeking a hands-on System Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in managing and supporting our companies' IT infrastructure, including Apple device fleet, office software, and network infrastructure. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who enjoys owning systems end-to-end and improving security, reliability, and user experience. You will work closely with a team of software developers and our product manager to support the broader company. This is an onsite based position in Boerne.

The medical practice operates under 4 brands:

  • Woundlocal, a mobile advanced wound care clinic serving patients throughout the state of Texas.
  • DMElocal, a DME distributor serving patients throughout the state of Texas.
  • Mindi, a nationwide telehealth platform, sales channel, scheduler, and payment processor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, and licensing
  • Manage Microsoft Entra ID (user accounts, groups, MFA, conditional access policies)
  • Administer Jamf for macOS/iOS device onboarding, compliance, patching, and policy management
  • Manage and maintain Ubiquiti network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, wireless access points)
  • Monitor network health, performance, and security
  • Maintain secure remote access configurations (VPN, MFA enforcement)
  • Configure and troubleshoot Zoom Workplace, Salesforce, and mail domain integrations (GoDaddy/M365)
  • Support Azure subscriptions and related services
  • Provide end-user support for macOS systems, laptops, access issues, and escalations
  • Manage user and device onboarding/offboarding with least-privilege enforcement
  • Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks
  • Maintain backups and basic recovery procedures
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues; escalate when appropriate
