Position Summary
Showplace is known in the industry for outstanding customer service, and we are looking for a team member who wants to be part of the best. With 800+ dealers across the country, the Customer Relations (CR) Representative serves as the first point of contact for dealer questions related to new or existing orders, products, and catalog inquiries. Beyond the initial interaction, this role focuses on building strong, lasting relationships with our dealer network.
In addition to managing phone calls and emails, CR Representatives learn to enter orders while meeting department-wide goals. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role.
Essential Functions
Other duties may be assigned, requested, or directed.
Answer phones in a friendly and professional manner; all calls must be logged
Provide customers with accurate information using available resources and training
Respond promptly and return calls within department expectations
Edit and enter regular orders
Edit and enter KAAT orders as needed
Enter stain labor orders as needed
Enter sample and hot part orders when scheduled
Process order changes
Create drawings and custom pricing
Email or fax orders containing drawings
Proactively contact dealers to request missing order information
Qualifications & Skills
Candidates must possess or be willing to learn the following:
Thorough knowledge of all Showplace product lines
Basic math skills, including geometry and fractions
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to provide friendly, effective customer resolutions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally stressful environment
Previous customer service experience is preferred
Computer proficiency and strong keyboarding/technology skills are helpful
Work Schedule
Regular Operating Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–4:30pm or 7:30am–5:00pm
Friday: 7:00am–11:00am or 7:30am–11:30am
Overtime Hours:
Monday–Friday, outside of regular operating hours as needed
