Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow development, strong problem-solving skills, and experience delivering scalable CSM, ITSM and enterprise workflows. Experience with Now Assist (Generative AI capabilities in ServiceNow) is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform across modules such as ITSM, CSM, and HRSD
Customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer
Implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs
Lead the design and development of complex workflows, forms, and catalogs
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and platform governance
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
Support platform upgrades and new feature implementations
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/ Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development
Strong expertise in CSM, ITSM module (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management)
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting
Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST APIs
Solid understanding of ServiceNow data model, ACLs, and security concepts
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Now Assist (Generative AI features in ServiceNow)
Hands-on experience with CSM, ITOM and HRSD modules
ServiceNow certifications such as:
Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
Experience with AI/ML integrations or automation tools
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
