Summary

Will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations including inside sales, lead and develop the operations team to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse, delivery, and customer service processes are running smoothly and promptly to provide impeccable customer service to our customers. Fosters a professional environment that enhances customer satisfaction through team leadership and innovative merchandising.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures in compliance with company’s policies and core values. 
  • Responsible for inventory control, including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and maintaining appropriate min/max levels in computer inventory system. 
  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Accountable for cash drawer balance and reconciling the daily bank deposits. 
  • Maintains physical condition of transportation fleet and PIT equipment by inspecting equipment and scheduling PM (preventive maintenance) ; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement. 
  • Achieves financial objectives by managing controllable expenses; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
