JOB FUNCTION:  To perform all necessary design using input information and equipment provided.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Design any item assigned by supervisor or management.

·         Design projects which include creating prints, dxf files, solid models, prototypes and anything else which management may decide on.

·         Strives to ensure that items created will be correct and fulfill input requirements.

·         Continuously improves design process to eliminate as much as possible inefficiencies in manufacturing or prototyping.

·         Keeps work area clean and orderly.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: May be assigned any other task deemed necessary by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·        Work involves varying degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerable.

·        Work may involve some heavy lifting and bending.
