What You’ll Do
As a Therapeutic Training & Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, community-based services to children, adolescents, and transitional age youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and their families. You’ll assist families in strengthening skills, promoting stability, and coordinating care across providers.
Deliver therapeutic training and support services in the home, school, and community
Support youth and families in practicing skills learned in therapy sessions
Assist with care coordination by collaborating with therapists, schools, and community providers
Help families build connections to resources, services, and supports
Provide psychoeducation to caregivers on behavioral health diagnoses, coping skills, and family dynamics
Ensure timely and accurate documentation including progress notes and treatment plans
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and treatment planning
Who You Are
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services-related field required
At least 1 year of human services experience required (2 years if Associate’s level)
Knowledge of mental illness diagnoses, behavioral modification, and coping techniques
Experience providing parenting education and working with children and families required
Familiarity with child-serving systems and community resources
Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations
Strong written, organizational, and communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
