GCyber, LLC is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to support a high visibility customer in Washington, DC. You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating enterprise applications primarily on the .NET platform across both classified and unclassified networks.

- Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using C#, ASP .NET, Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and MS SQL Server
- Support CI/CD pipeline development and migration to modern DevSecOps tooling.
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit, regression, UAT) to ensure code quality and release confidence
- Produce clear documentation: source code, system architecture, end-user guides, and test plans
- Track work using Agile Kanban methodology via Jira; write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Support application migrations including .NET Framework to .NET Core and VM-based hosting to containers
- Collaborate with government and contractor team members on development, troubleshooting, and operational support
- Respond to production incidents and contribute to after-action reporting and root cause analysis
- Ensure applications comply with Section 508 accessibility standards and federal security requirements
- Support additional platforms and technologies (SharePoint, React/Node.js, database administration_ as needed alongside the broader team
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
- IAT II Certification (i.e. Security+, CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)
- 5-7 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, Angular, JavaScript, and HTML.CSS
- Experience with Git-based source control (TFS, GitHub, GitLab)
- Experience with Agile/Kanban methodologies and task tracking tools such as Jira
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline tooling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to document technical work clearly
