ATC - PRN/Part-time 401K with a 4% Match, Free Continued Education
We are seeking a PRN certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to cover at a couple of our local high schools in the Valencia/ Santa Clarita area. Ideally it will be between 18-40 hours per week with some weekend availabilty needed. The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for local high school outreach programs. Duties include practice and event coverage with training room hours. Prevent, assess, and treat emergency, acute, and chronic injuries; Recondition athletes and active individuals after injury to prevent injury recurrence, impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities. Develop working relationships with area schools and industries to provide offsite outreach specialty programs. Act as a liaison between hospital, athletes, parents, coaches, school administration and supervising physician; coordinating care and referrals.

- Communicate with coaches, parents, clinical team, physician team and expanded healthcare team as needed
- Treat chronic minor injuries and related disabilities to maintain athletes’ performance
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university required
- Unrestricted Athletic Trainer (ATC) licensure to practice in State of employment
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and training preferred. Newly licensed encouraged to apply.
