At Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, we are focused on delivering quality patient care. Our Podiatry Department is currently seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to deliver care that is second to none in our high volume-fast paced practice. 

Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to: 

  • Working along with providers in a clinic setting.
  • Greet and room patients while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Prepare patients for provider examination and assist providers during in-office medical procedures.
  • Record and maintaining records of vitals and other pertinent patient health data.
  • Support the casting process, including preparation, application, and removal of casts
  • Patient education on upcoming procedures, medications, etc. per provider’s protocol.
  • Triage patient calls for providers and answer patient questions.

Qualifications:

  • Medical certification/license is required.
  • CPR certification is required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.
  • Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
