The PM shift Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for efficiently delivering food orders from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accurate and timely service.
Responsibilities:
- Food Delivery:
- Efficiently transport food orders from the kitchen to guest tables.
- Ensure accurate order delivery, verifying items and table numbers.
- Maintain food presentation and temperature standards.
- Table Setting and Clearing:
- Set tables with appropriate tableware and condiments.
- Clear tables of used dishes and debris promptly.
- Reset tables for incoming guests.
- Guest Service:
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Address guest needs and concerns promptly.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
- Kitchen Support:
- Assist kitchen staff as needed, such as plating dishes or running errands.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Teamwork:
- Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with colleagues.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food.
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain).
