Make a difference every day! Avina of Pewaukee is seeking a fun, energetic and compassionate Part-Time Activities Assistant to help bring joy, engagement and connection to our residents.
What You'll Do
- Lead and assist with scheduled group and 1:1 activities
- Encourage participation and build positive relationships with residents
- Escort residents to and from activities
- Help plan, prepare and organize materials for weekly programs
- Complete basic documentation and assist with care plan information
- Maintain safe and clean activity areas
- Support resident rights, confidentiality, and facility policies
What We're Looking For
- Outgoing, Creative and reliable personality
- Passion for working with seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer kowledge- including but not limited to Microsoft suite
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Experience in activities or long-term care is a plus, but not required
- Dependable transportation
