Duties

Serve as the primary Technical Writer and Editor for cyber related assessment, training, and technical documentation within a Cyber Excepted Service organization.,Develop clear, accurate, and testable assessment items across cyber domains such as network defense, digital forensics, malware analysis, cloud security, programming, and cyber operations fundamentals.,Create scenario based, simulation based, and performance based assessment content aligned with cyber mission requirements.,Serve as the authoritative editor for all assessment items, manuals, reports, and cyber related publications.,Incorporate statistical feedback on item performance into revisions and future content development.,Use specialized software tools to track, version, and manage assessment items and technical documents.,Represent the organization at working groups and technical committees related to cyber workforce development and assessment.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1. converting technical cybersecurity concepts into language suitable for assessments, training materials, or operational documentation; 2. editing cyber related publications for grammar, structure, clarity, and compliance with editorial policies; 3. collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy and validity of assessment policies and processes.
