Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Product Owner - Insights & Analytics to join the Plexure team in this created role! You'll become part of a global, growing SaaS company at an exciting point in our growth journey. Based in Auckland CBD, you'll enjoy WFH days + lots of lovely benefits (more on those below).

What will you do?

  • As part of our Product team, you’ll own how insight-driven capabilities are shaped, validated, and delivered across our platform, turning business questions into data-driven products that marketers actually use.
  • You’ll partner closely with Product, Insights, and Engineering to define the right problems to solve, bringing structure to ambiguous opportunities and ensuring they translate into meaningful outcomes for customers.
  • Acting as the product voice for Insights & Analytics, you’ll:
      • Lead discovery across customer and business problems, shaping clear hypotheses, success measures, and decision frameworks
      • Work with Insights and Data teams to test feasibility, refine thinking, and decide what’s worth progressing
      • Turn validated opportunities into well-defined products, from segmentation and measurement to reporting and analytics capabilities
      • Maintain a clear, outcome-driven roadmap that balances exploration with delivery
      • Align multiple teams (Insights, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering) to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions
      • Ensure what gets built is not only technically sound, but usable, valuable, and adopted by marketing teams
  • You’ll also play a key role in connecting data and product decisions across the platform - identifying upstream data needs, downstream impacts, and ensuring insight capabilities remain flexible and valuable as the product evolves.


What are we looking for?

You’ll come from one of the following backgrounds:


  • An experienced Product Owner who understands how data and analytics create value for marketers, or

  • A background in digital marketing, analytics, or insights, with strong product thinking (framing problems, prioritising outcomes, and driving delivery)

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can take loosely defined business needs and turn them into structured problems, hypotheses, and actionable requirements
  • Understands how marketers use data, including segmentation, measurement, personalisation, and reporting
  • Is comfortable working with data products, with an understanding of concepts such as event data, derived metrics, and dashboarding
  • Enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, aligning business, product, and engineering perspectives
  • Brings a strong analytical mindset, including the ability to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
