About the Department

The Language Arts Division is currently accepting applications for part-time American Sign Language Instructors.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Masters in American Sign Language

OR

a Bachelor's in American Sign Language AND two years of professional experience in American Sign Language

OR the equivalent

Other Qualifications

Adjunct applications are accepted on a continuous basis for immediate and future hiring needs. Applicants will be contacted if selected for further consideration. Adjunct pools remain open throughout the academic year to support ongoing recruitment for departmental assignments and can close at any time. Please review the application requirements to ensure that your submission is complete. Applications will not be considered until all required documents have been received. 

Academic positions require the following documents to be attached to your application in order to be considered:

-Current resume
-Scanned copy of official transcripts showing completion of required degreed. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted only during the application process. Foreign transcripts and degrees require official certification of equivalency to U.S. transcripts and degrees by a certified U.S. review service at the time of application.
 
Additional documents not requested in the announcement, will not be reviewed. Those applicants deemed best qualified will be invited to the college for an interview. Applications with incomplete information (i.e. statements such as "see resume") or missing documents will not be considered.
