The Recruiting Coordinator supports the HR team’s talent acquisition efforts, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This role coordinates interviews, maintains applicant tracking systems, oversees candidate communication, and assists in sourcing top talent to support the company’s growth. As the first point of connection for prospective new hires, the Recruiting Coordinator helps build exceptional teams that reflect Mirbeau’s elevated standards of hospitality and service excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
      • Support the HR Team and HR managers with recruitment strategies, with a focus on meeting the urgent staffing needs across all Mirbeau properties
      • Collaborate with hiring managers and property HR managers to understand departmental needs and develop recruitment approaches
      • Source qualified candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and direct outreach
      • Maintain an active pipeline of both active and passive candidates for current and future openings
      • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including:
        • Reviewing applications and resumes
        • Conducting initial phone interviews, evaluating candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and career goals
        • Coordinating in-person interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers
        • Facilitating background checks and reference verifications
        • Supporting onboarding processes
      • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms with accurate candidate information
      • Track and report recruiting metrics, providing regular updates to HR Team
      • Continuously identify and recommend improvements to recruitment processes and candidate experience
    • Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience
      • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers, providing timely communication and ensuring a seamless, professional experience
      • Represent Mirbeau with polish and professionalism, acting as a “brand ambassador” and creating a positive first impression for all candidate interactions
      • Ensure a seamless, compliant, and service-focused hiring process that reflects Mirbeau’s elevated hospitality standards
    • Collaboration & Support
      • Communicate effectively with property HR managers, hiring managers, and the corporate HR team to align on priorities and staffing needs, fully understanding which are to be prioritized with the highest urgency
      • Collaborate with the HR Generalist on managing job postings and updating job descriptions specific to each property
      • Assist the Director of HR and the HR Team with various recruiting and administrative tasks as needed or directed
      • Support recruitment events such as job fairs, open houses, and campus recruiting initiatives- always representing the company with professional and enthusiasm

 

Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements:

    • Experience & Education
      • Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
      • Proven success as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or in a similar role
      • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
      • Strong understanding of recruitment practices, sourcing techniques, and basic employment laws
    • Professional Skills
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, articulate and well-spoken
      • Strong interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with candidates and hiring managers
      • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
      • High attention to detail, professionalism and discretion in handling confidential candidate and company information
      • Proactive approach to sourcing, networking, and building strong relationships across all teams
      • Commitment to providing a positive, high-touch candidate experience that reflects Mirbeau’s elevated hospitality standards
      • Well-groomed and professional in appearance, representing the Mirbeau brand
    • Working Conditions
      • This is a full-time position based on-site, with occasional evening or weekend work for recruitment events
      • Ability to travel to different properties as needed, approximately 1-3 times per year, primarily for new property openings, recruitment, interviews, and job fairs.
