What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Produce Department, including hiring, training, and supervising staff

• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and product returns

• Monitor inventory levels and recommend purchase orders to keep shelves fully stocked

• Train staff in store policies, procedures, and excellent customer service techniques

• Analyze sales data, conduct audits, and make recommendations to improve department performance

• Maintain high-quality displays and ensure the freshest produce is available for our customers

• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of Produce Management experience

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and produce display expertise

• In-depth knowledge of produce, quality standards, and market pricing

Working Conditions:

• Active role requiring movement on hard surfaces, bending, climbing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs (with assistance for heavier items)

• Indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes (freezers, coolers, ovens) and occasional loud equipment

• Safe handling of cleaning agents, sharp tools, and industrial equipment
