Job Description

JOB TITLE: Laboratory Assistant 

DEPT: LHC Lab

LOCATION: MRMC Lewis Health Center

SHIFT: Full-Time, 7:30a-6:00p

ABOUT THE UNIT:

Functions under routine supervision to perform specimen collection, handling and processing tasks; receive and respond to client inquiries and requests.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred
    • 1 Year Laboratory Experience in a Hospital or similar settingRequired
    • 1 Year Laboratory Central ProcessingPreferred 
    • Certified Phlebotomist Tennessee Preferred
