    DESCRIPTION: School District 27J is currently seeking a Special Education Behavior Coach (TOSA) with current BCBA certification. This role will include coaching and capacity building of staff to develop skills to support students with behavioral and emotional regulation challenges. This position will also be responsible for supporting development and implementation of student specific interventions within a 27J managed separate school classroom at the Bob Sakata Education Campus and our 27J Elementary Learning Center (ASD) classrooms across 27J Schools. 

     

    SALARY:  Certified, full time position. Salary is dependent on relevant experience. Position is eligible for benefits.



     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborate with building stakeholders and provide training to building teams on evidence-based practices to support students with autism
    • Collaborate with building mental health providers to develop and support implementation of FBAs and BIPs
    • Collect, analyze and interpret data to adjust or develop individualized student interventions
    • Supervise RBTs as applicable
    • Adhere to ethical guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board 

       


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Required:  Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider or Special Education License
    • Required: Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification 

       

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Required: A minimum of five (5) years experience working with elementary students
    • Preferred, not required: Individual with experience in teaching adults, using adult learning strategies
    • Preferred, not required: Bilingual
