POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Coordinator combines both administrative and sales skills to support the sales 

team in booking and organizing group and transient business. This role involves managing 

client relationships, coordinating events, and ensuring that all client requirements are met 

effectively. The position is ideal for someone who excels at communication, organization, 

and delivering exceptional service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer phones and engage with walk-in guests with an upbeat and friendly attitude, 

ensuring a welcoming experience.

• Conduct tours of the hotel and meeting spaces, showcasing facilities and services 

to prospective clients.

• Assist in negotiating room rates and other hotel services, communicating booked 

groups to hotel management, and supporting contract negotiations.

• Provide comprehensive support to clients, from initial contact through the 

completion of their event, acting as the primary point of contact.

• Consistently communicate with all team members, serving as the liaison between 

departments and clients to ensure a seamless guest experience.

• Collaborate with the sales team to assess departmental progress, adapt sales 

strategies, and enhance sales efforts.

• Coordinate customer specifications with other departments, responding quickly to 

customer comments, issues, and requests.

• Maintain organized and legible records, files, and documentation to ensure 

accurate client communication and follow-up.

• Reach individual booking revenue goals by selling, negotiating, prospecting, and 

marketing the hotel across social media channels.

• Prepare contracts, proposals, rate agreements, and other necessary 

documentation, coordinating with relevant hotel departments.

• Resolve issues, complaints, and problems to ensure high-quality service and 

customer satisfaction.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support overall sales 

objectives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.

• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Experience in sales or customer service is preferred, especially in a hospitality 

setting
