Our property: The Lied Lodge resides within the 260 acres of Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska City, NE, which is a property owned & operated by the Arbor Day Foundation. Who we’re looking for: Lied Lodge is looking for a Housekeeping Manager to lead the Housekeeping team. We are looking for a highly dynamic, fun, and engaged leader who can help us ensure our Team Members and guests both have positive experiences.

Essential functions of the job:
o Provide exceptional service to Team Members and guests
o Select, train, lead, coach, and support Team Members
o Manage administrative components of day to day housekeeping operations
o Prioritize training, room inspections, and service recovery
o Maintain positive working relationships with the Maintenance and Front Desk team
o Ensure Lied Lodge image is upheld, in regard to cleanliness
o Learn and take on roles within the Housekeeping as needed (Guestroom Attendant, Laundry, etc)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Ability to lead, and take initiative
o Ability to delegate responsibilities in a positive manner
o Excellent listening skills and the ability to make Team Members and guests feel heard and understood
o Eagerness and ability to solve problems and make decisions
o Ability to be flexible and adaptable when there are changes
o Ability, willingness, and excitement to be cross trained within Housekeeping, and other teams
Qualifications:
o Minimum of three years of housekeeping leadership experience
o Valid driver’s license in good standing
Schedule:
o Full-time, exempt position
o Varied schedule, but mostly daytime hours
o Evenings, weekends, and holidays
