Wire EDM Operator - Machinist 1 / Machinist 2 (2nd shift / Weekend shift)

Machinist 1:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • WEDM with assist for program setup
  • Hole Pop with assist for program setup
  • Monitor and improve process efficiencies.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and defect reduction.
  • Ensure all processes meet quality and safety standards.
  • Assist with machine troubleshooting and minor maintenance.
  • Maintain autonomous maintenance schedule.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.

 Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years CNC machining experience.
  • Expert in precision machining and tolerances below .0005.
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T.


Machinist 2:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Can write program and setup WEDM
  • Can write program and setup Hole Pop 
  • Perform troubleshooting of mechanical, quality, and process issues.
  • Achieve and maintain tolerances below .0005 independently.
  • Collaborate with quality and engineering to resolve quality issues.
  • Train and mentor Machinists 1 and Operators.
  • Document and refine setup procedures and standard work instructions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist with machine repair and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Maintain autonomous maintenance schedule.

 Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years machining experience.
  • Expert in precision machining and tolerances below .0005.
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience writing G and M Codes.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience using AutoCAD.




Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.
Weekend Shift - 36 hours
2nd shift - 40 hrs
