Job Summary:
The Full Stack ASP.NET MVC/ASP.Net Core developer will be responsible for website development and web-based software. The developer must have strong web development experience utilizing Agile methodologies. The developer must have a strong knowledge of SQL Server and backend technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for reading and interpreting requirements
- Converting legacy windows applications to web based MVC applications.
- Run and understand the legacy applications and convert them to more modern software/workflows while utilizing the same underlying database technology.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience developing ASP.NET MVC applications
- 3+ years’ experience with C# and Microsoft SQL Server
- 2+ years’ experience with JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, VUE.js or Angular
- 1+ year experience with Git
- Experience with scrum and agile SDLC management principals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Developing ASP.NET Core/ASP.NET MVC applications utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks
- Developing and testing ASP.NET MVC service layer code
- Developing and testing integration with 3rd party APIs
- Developing and testing database layer code with Microsoft SQL Server
- Attention to details
Work Environment:
- Office setting with a moderate noise level.
- The employee will work at an individual workstation, using a telephone and computer.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain seated for extended periods.
- Regular use of a computer and other office machinery, such as printers and copy machines.
- Occasional movement around the office.
- Frequent communication via telephone.
