The Wholesale Data & Operation Technology AI Labs team in India is an integral part of the global team which is responsible to build and enhance Data Lake Platform. This is a global team located geographically across regions.


 


Role & Responsibilities:


 


 


 












 
 








 


This is an Individual Contributor position. We're seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our Wholesale Data and Operations Technology team. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our enterprise data lake platform.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Design and implement scalable, high-throughput data processing systems capable of managing the data lake platform

  • Build Dashboards (KX) for the users

  • Develop and maintain microservices that power our data ingestion and distribution platform.

  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design decisions

  • Deliver high quality code within the committed deadlines, adhere to the best coding practices reducing technical debt

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, with a focus on performance optimization

  • Work within an agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

  • Collaborate with global team members across different time zones to ensure 24/7 system reliability

  • Communicate effectively across technology and non-technology stakeholders to drive solutions
