Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Site Leadership & Strategy

  • Support the execution of operational strategy aligned with business goals and growth plans 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into actionable plans 
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across supply chain and site leadership 
  • Act as a key partner in addressing supply chain challenges and supporting broader operational initiatives

 

Supply Chain & Materials Leadership

  • Oversee and guide supply chain activities including procurement, planning, inventory, and warehouse operations 
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships to support cost, quality, and delivery objectives 
  • Work closely with production teams to align materials planning with schedules and forecasts
  • Drive inventory optimization and working capital improvements

     

Financial Ownership

  • Support delivery of site-level financial performance, including budget development, cost control, and margin improvement
  • Monitor and drive reductions in labor, material, and overhead costs
  • Identify and execute cost savings and efficiency initiatives
  • Support capital investment planning and ROI-driven decision-making

 

Operational Excellence

  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across operations and supply chain using Lean principles
  • Help establish and monitor KPIs to drive performance and accountability
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and HSE standards
  • Drive root cause problem-solving and sustainable corrective actions

 

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop supply chain teams across procurement, planning, inventory, and warehousing
  • Build organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, and performance management
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and communication

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-functional teams (operations + materials/supply chain)
  • Experience with full P&L or site-level financial responsibility strongly preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven ability to lead at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Strong financial and operational acumen
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making capability
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and data-driven operations
  • Lean / Six Sigma experience preferred
