As a part-time sales associate in Riverhead, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers with finding products, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a tidy sales floor. You'll utilize your product knowledge to enhance the shopping experience, promote sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

The Sales Associate is responsible for the following:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service to meet their shopping needs.
• Assist customers with product selection, sizing, styling, and fit recommendations.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the store’s product assortment, including new arrivals, promotions, and sales events.
• Operate the Point of Sale System and handle customer transactions accurately.
• Achieve or exceed individual and store sales goals through effective selling techniques.
• Keep the sales floor stocked, organized, and visually appealing in alignment with brand standards.
• Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing new merchandise.
• Address customer questions, concerns, or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and safety standards.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented store culture.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Interest in men’s and boys’ fashion and trends is a plus.
