Position:
Personal Care Attendant
(Building is not assigned but when assigned is subject to change, depending on needs of the district)
Type:
Position is for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Instructional support for school as assigned; full-time, 40-hrs per week, 9-month (school term) position under Classified Labor Agreement. Supervised by building principal or designee.
Eligibility:
High school diploma or GED (must submit copy of diploma/certificate with application). Must have clean criminal record (no felony or multiple misdemeanors).
Duties:
Under general supervisor of the building principal, performs services in supervision, care and instruction of special needs students in the regular classroom or in a self-contained classroom. Such functions include escort services for transportation and classroom transitions, safety, exercise, ambulation, instructional, personal care for students with functional limitations and ability to perform activities of daily living. Qualifications:
Required: Any combination of education or experience that would provide the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. However, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications; high school diploma (or equivalent), CPR/First Aide Certification (or willingness to obtain). Salary:
Hourly rate per classified scale, Lane 1; $17.85 per hr. (up to $19.47 per hr. after 90-working day probationary period, DOE).

Per Classified agreement includes annual and sick leave (following waiting period), retirement, and health insurance benefits as adopted by the district.
