Job Description

At Inriver, we help brands deliver better product experiences — everywhere their customers are. From the first product detail to the final purchase decision, we make product information work smarter.

Now we’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to support our CFO and global leadership team with sharp financial insights, strong planning, and smarter decision-making. If you enjoy turning numbers into clarity, partnering with leaders, and building better ways of working through systems, automation, and analytics - this might be your next home.

Why you’ll love this role

As our next Finance Business Partner, you’ll step into a role where you can truly influence how the business is guided and scaled:

  • Work closely with the CFO and business leaders in a high-impact, trusted partner role

  • Own key parts of budgeting, forecasting, and performance follow-up across the organization

  • Help improve how we use data, BI tools, and automation to work smarter (not harder)

  • Join a finance team where you can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery

  • Be part of a PE-backed SaaS environment where strong financial structure and insight really matter

What you’ll do 📈

You’ll play a central role in helping the business plan ahead, understand performance, and make better decisions - with numbers, structure, and insights as your toolkit.

  • Financial Planning & Performance Management: Coordinate the annual budgeting process and recurring forecasts, ensuring plans stay aligned with business development. Build financial models, analyze variances, and translate performance into clear insights and actionable recommendations. Monitor financial and operational KPIs and support cost control, efficiency initiatives, and investment decisions in close partnership with business leaders.

  • Reporting & Accounting Collaboration: Support the monthly close process together with accounting, including selected tasks such as accruals, reconciliations, and analysis. Ensure consistency between accounting data and management reporting, delivering structured performance follow-ups to stakeholders.

  • Business Intelligence & Analytics: Develop and enhance BI dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring data quality and alignment across financial and operational systems. Provide ad hoc analysis to support commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives.

  • Systems, Automation & Finance Development: Contribute to improving finance systems (ERP, planning, BI) and drive automation of reporting and analysis using modern tools and AI to strengthen efficiency and insight generation.

  • CFO & Strategic Support: Act as a key support to the CFO in board materials, investor reporting, and strategic projects, contributing to robust finance processes and governance in a PE-backed SaaS environment.

What you’ll bring

We don’t expect you to tick every box - but we think you’ll thrive here if you have many of the below:

✔️At least 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, and business partnering

✔️Confidence working with forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling

✔️The ability to turn complex numbers into clear business insight

✔️A structured mindset - you enjoy creating clarity and driving follow-up

✔️Strong data and BI skills, and interest in automation and AI

✔️Collaboration skills - you work smoothly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders

✔️Ownership, curiosity, and a “let’s improve how we work” mindset

✔️ Flexibility and adaptability - you’re comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-evolving SaaS environment

Why Inriver

At Inriver, you’ll join a global company with a product at the center and people who genuinely care about building something meaningful together.

Here you’ll get:

  • A high-impact role with close collaboration with the CFO and leadership team

  • The chance to modernize and strengthen finance through systems, BI, automation, and AI

  • A supportive team culture with space to learn, lead, and grow

  • A workplace where your voice matters and your work makes a difference

We’re serious about building a strong business - and we also care about enjoying the ride.

In our Malmö office, you’ll find things like:

  • Tuesday Fika ☕

  • Friday breakfasts to start the day together

  • A running club and social activities for anyone who wants to join

  • A welcoming mix of focused work, collaboration, and a few laughs along the way

We work in a hybrid setup, with flexibility and trust as a baseline.
