As Payroll Manager, you will oversee payroll processes to ensure accurate, complete, and timely employee compensation. You will conduct internal and external audits in close partnership with business leadership and finance teams, while managing key functions such as separation agreements, garnishments, and tax withholdings. You will play a key role in ensuring alignment with the company’s values and strategic objectives, while supporting additional initiatives as needed to drive overall business success.

How You Will Make an Impact:
- Reviews payroll processes, procedures, audits and payouts to ensure accurate, complete and timely pay to employees.
- Performs internal and external audits, working closely with business leadership and finance partners.
- Oversees administration and processing of separation agreements, garnishments and tax withholding programs.
- Manages payroll data pertaining to retirement programs (401(k)), W-2, insurance and other designated payments.
- Maintains and updates union, tax rate, and other associated payroll information.
- Interprets Company policy and government regulations impacting payroll procedures and communication requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
- Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field required.
- 8+ years’ experience with in-house payroll processes required.
- Experience with JDE World and JDE One environments preferred.
- US Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Canada Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)
- Demonstrated track record of performing detailed analysis and applying business acumen to develop insightful valued-added solutions/process improvements.
- Effective communications skills (oral and written), including presentations.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Above average planning & organizational skills, results-oriented and the capability of driving multiple projects simultaneously to completion.
- High initiative, strong judgment and solutions orientation.
- Strong team orientation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc) and payroll systems.
