St. Theresa Catholic School is accepting applications for the 2019-2020 School Year for the position of Full-Time Middle School Language Arts Teacher

 

Reports to: Principal

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide for the spiritual, moral, physical, emotional, and intellectual development of the children of St. Theresa School (STS) through the teaching of Language Arts.


• Help live, instill and motivate the Mission of STS


• Maintain professional, charitable, cooperative and respectful relationships with all members of the STS community


• Serve as a homeroom teacher to include supervising during Mass and assemblies


• Establish and maintain effective discipline


• Be well prepared for all assigned courses

• Carry out duties in a responsible manner regarding curriculum, co-curricular activities, safety, and other assigned tasks


• Use technology and incorporate it in teaching and related duties

 

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure - English/Language Arts endorsement


• Or hold a VCEA license


• 3 Years’ experience is preferred


• Must be Catholic
