Job Description

General Description:

  • Manages all aspects of the capital equipment process from raw material to finished good.
  • Participate/lead development of process that meets safety, quality, cycle, scrap, and labor standards.
  • Establish controls and parameters for maintaining and monitoring the process.
  • Train personnel on how to maintain the process and identify any critical issues that may need special attention.
  • Document all process controls.
  • Participate in PFMEA activities.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and scrap reduction.

Position Specific Requirements (PSR):

  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC programming (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000)
  • Proficiency in HMI development (Factorytalk)
  • Strong Understanding of Industrial communications protocols (mostly Ethernet/IP)
  • Read and Interpret Electrical schematics
  • Experience with servos and VFDs
  • Fanuc robot programming (2+ years)
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and Quality on project work
  • Safety Equipment (Keyence)
  • Vision Systems (Keyence Cameras and Scanners)
  • Technical support, hands on with Maintenance team
  • Proficiency in debugging controls systems

Education:

  • AA required
  • BS/BA preferred

Experience:

  • Requires 1-3 years
