Job Description

Overview

At STN Digital, we help the biggest brands in sports and entertainment win on social media. Our work powers global tentpole events, builds fanbases, launches shows, sells products, and shapes culture for partners like Netflix, the NFL, Hulu, Nike, NBA teams, and more.

For over a decade, we’ve been the most trusted social-first agency in the industry. As we continue to grow, our ability to deliver high-quality creative work at scale depends on strong project leadership, clear communication, and disciplined execution.

The Creative Project Manager is responsible for owning overall project delivery across STN Digital’s client and internal initiatives. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations, creative standards, and business goals.

You will manage project timelines, workflows, resource allocation, budgets, and cross-functional communication. This role sits within the Project Management team and partners closely with Creative, Social, Production, and Accounts teams to ensure successful project delivery.

This role operates with a high level of accountability in project delivery, maintaining visibility across all moving parts while proactively identifying risks and driving solutions.

We’re looking for a highly organized, solutions-oriented operator who thrives in fast-paced sports and entertainment environments and takes pride in leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional creative work.

The Role

The Creative Project Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of creative work within STN Digital’s pod-based structure. From initial scoping through final delivery, you will oversee timelines, manage resources, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively.

You will collaborate closely with Creative, Social, Production, and Accounts teams to align on scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining visibility into overall project health.

This role balances hands-on project management execution with ongoing improvements to workflows and team efficiency; however, delivery excellence, clarity, and communication are the primary priorities.

  4. Facilitate internal and client-facing meetings, ensuring clarity on next steps and expectations

  5. Ensure all stakeholders have the information and context needed to execute successfully

Resource & Capacity Planning

  1. Lead daily and weekly capacity planning across Creative teams

  2. Assign and prioritize work based on timelines, team bandwidth, and project needs

  3. Forecast resource needs based on upcoming work, campaigns, and tentpole events

  4. Maintain visibility into internal and freelance resource availability

  5. Support onboarding and integration of freelancers or Independent Contractors as needed

  6. Escalate capacity risks and recommend solutions to maintain delivery timelines

Budget & Financial Oversight

  1. Develop and manage project budgets in partnership with Accounts and production stakeholders

  2. Track project performance against budget and proactively flag risks to margin

  3. Recommend adjustments to timelines, resources, or scope to maintain profitability

  4. Maintain working knowledge of market rates to inform staffing and budget decisions

  5. Reconcile project costs and validate time tracking to ensure accurate billing

Process & Workflow Optimization

  1. Uphold and improve project management workflows, tools, and best practices

  2. Ensure consistent use of project management systems (e.g., Wrike) across teams

  3. Identify inefficiencies and partner with Project Management leadership to improve processes

  4. Maintain clean, detailed project documentation for visibility and future reference

  5. Contribute to scalable systems that support growth across pods
