We have an exciting opportunity for a Furniture Installer to join our Facilities Team in San Diego, CA!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assemble, install, and relocate office furniture and equipment as required.
Coordinate, oversee, and perform medium- and large-scale employee moves and equipment relocations.
Support daily conference room setups, office build-outs, and tear-downs.
Load and unload materials and equipment from vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
Follow detailed instructions and work effectively under close supervision.
Complete all required documentation and associated paperwork accurately and on time.
Maintain the workplace and warehouse in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including fueling, washing, and related tasks.
Adhere to established safety procedures and operating practices at all times.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications

Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must demonstrate a basic understanding of facilities maintenance principles and concepts.
Must have a working knowledge of and discretion in safely operating hand and power tools.
Must be customer focused and possess:
- A valid California driver's license with a good driving record verified by the DMV;
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and other mechanical drawings;
- Basic analytical ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice;
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to work with all levels of employees and to accurately communicate, document and report;
- Basic knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field.
The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
Two-year technical degree or trade school equivalent desirable.
