Responsibilities: 

• Maintains all golf course areas and maintenance facility. Involves use of hand-held type equipment such as: weed eaters, backpack & push blowers, edgers, dew whips, self-propelled walking mower, flymows, rakes & shovels, core pushers, picks & pitchforks, level lawns, and water hoses.
• Operate Utility Carts
• Maintains sprinkler heads and valve boxes
• Maintains bunkers
• Maintains cart paths (edge and blow)
• Walk Mow Greens and Tees
• Daily cleanup of equipment and facility
• Record fuel use in fuel log
• Mow Fairways
• Mow Roughs
• Mow Approaches
• Blow Fairways and Rough
• Spread pine and hardwood mulch 3 times per week. Involves standing, load/unload mulch, and hand spreading.
• Operates construction equipment
• Operates aerators
• Operates top dresser
• Golf Course Setup
• All other duties as required by supervision.

Qualifications: 

• Prefer previous experience on golf course or construction site (including use of Heavy Equipment)
• Must be able to bend, stretch and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions.
