What´s the Role?
We are seeking a dynamic Treasury Analyst to join the Cash Management team. The Treasury Analyst will play a critical role in managing cash forecasting, reporting and compliance activities, ensuring efficient cash positioning across multiple entities and bank accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic treasury environment.
Responsible for cash administration activities to minimize the organization's exposure to cash, credit, interest, and foreign exchange risk.

What you will do:
Cash Forecasting
- Utilise advanced Excel skills to maintain the weekly cash forecasting model, including short-term and long-term forecasting, to manage flows between bank accounts and optimize cash flow and liquidity management.
- Managing daily cash balances for multiple bank accounts and over several banking platforms, ensuring cash is positioned correctly and timely to meet payment obligations.
- Analyse and plan daily cash positions against projected flows to ensure bank accounts are consistently funded to support operational needs.
- Do daily FX Spot trading in the financial markets, recording deal details and managing approvals process.
- Initiate daily bank transfers on banking platforms to ensure adequate bank and currency funding requirements and manage intercompany payment approval requests.
- Prepare intercompany loan payments on banking platforms and assist in the maintenance of loan schedules.
Cash Balance and Reporting
- Generate and analyse cash balance reports for multiple bank accounts and entities, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Prepare and distribute accurate weekly cash position reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and variances.
- Engaging with various markets to ensure timely submission of weekly cash balances.
- Report all bank transactions and non-cash transactions to the GBS team in charge of the posting in the ERP.
Payment Processing
- Prepare payments in the banking portals, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions.
- Monitor payment processes and address any discrepancies or issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to resolve payment queries, liaising with relationship banks where required.
Bank Relationship Management
- Collaborate with relationship banks to implement MT940 reporting, facilitating efficient daily cash reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Manage bank account opening requests, working with relationship banks to complete KYC and account opening documentation.
- Maintain the bank account signatories update for multiple entities completing the KYC’s and providing the documentation requested by banks.
Project Management
- Work on projects related to cash repatriation, liquidity and bank mandate updates for multiple entities.
- Provide support and expertise to ensure alignment of project objectives with treasury and cash management goals.
- Working on the account rationalization project aimed at streamlining bank accounts across the group, actively pursuing markets for updates.
Compliance and Controls
- Support with SOX and compliance related controls, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Follow up with markets to ensure compliance of reporting requirements in accordance with established timelines.
Qualifications:
What do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in treasury operations, cash management or financial analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP and data manipulation.
- Experience with banking portals essential, with understanding of flow maintenance and new user set ups.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive efficiency within a treasury or finance function.
- Experience with cash forecasting techniques and tools, with the ability to accurately forecast cash flows across different currencies and bank accounts.
- Proven track record of independently managing projects, with experience in ERP systems implementation preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (advanced English proficiency), with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organisation.
