Job Description

Under this task order, the contractor shall provide services in support of the Office of Undersecretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, National Museum of American Diplomacy (R/PPR/NMAD).

  • Facilitate simulations with school groups or civic organizations and motivate these groups to conduct similar programs for their membership
  • Assist in the development of web content in support of education programs
  • Serve as a producer for live virtual events, giving direction to the on-air talent and relaying questions
  • Collaborate with the Director of Public Programs to devise content for public programming
  • Assist with hosting school groups and the general public in the museum space
  • Assist with the museum’s large events that require full office support
  • Track and report performance metrics for public programs
  • Draft promotional and outreach materials for public programs
  • Assist with the development of new education materials and products meant to reach high school and college students and their instructors
  • Travel and cultivate relationships around the country in support of the museum’s outreach mission
  • Other related programming duties as assigned, such as contributing to educational materials, assisting with teacher trainings, and assisting with museum events.
