Job Description

As a Junior Layer1 Software Developer at Nokia, you will support the design and development of GPU-accelerated embedded software for our 5G base station products. Working with NVIDIA GPUs and CUDA technology, you will learn how to optimize code for high-performance computing and contribute to the evolution of next-generation mobile networks. This is an opportunity to grow your skills in real-time signal processing and collaborate with experienced engineers in a global team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and testing embedded software for Layer 1 (L1) functionality using C/C++ and CUDA.
  • Support code optimization and GPU feature implementation under guidance from senior developers.
  • Participate in scrum team activities and learn agile development practices.
  • Help with basic feasibility analysis and documentation of technical requirements.
  • Contribute to unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
  • Learn and apply best practices in DevOps and continuous integration using tools like Docker and Python.

Qualifications

You have :

  • Knowledge of programming in C++ and Python.
  • Understanding of GPU programming and CUDA development
  • Fluency in English.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Interest in LTE/5G systems and L1 technology
  • Familiarity with Linux environments
