Job Description
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for leading a classroom serving infants and toddlers in a full-day, year-round early learning setting or a school day-school year
. The educator plans and implements age-appropriate experiences that support developmental growth, while maintaining a structured and nurturing environment. Duties include organizing daily classroom activities, overseeing children during indoor and outdoor play, and ensuring the space meets all health and safety standards. The position also involves building strong partnerships with families through regular communication, including conferences and home visits, to support each child’s individual development. In addition, this role provides guidance and oversight to classroom support staff, including assistants and floaters.

Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must hold an Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or have completed comparable coursework in early childhood education with a concentration in infant and toddler development. Equivalent qualifications will be reviewed and approved by the appropriate governing organization.
COMPENSATION: Jefferson Co.$20.18 - $35.93 Based on Education and Experience.
