Job Description

Our Hibbing clinic is growing, and Twin Ports Dermatology is excited to offer a unique career pathway for a Certified Nursing Assistant who is ready to grow into a Certified Derm Technician. This position is ideal for someone who is motivated, patient focused, and eager to build long term skills in dermatology while being fully supported through advanced training. Twin Ports Dermatology proudly covers the cost of this training and provides hands on training throughout the process.


Key Responsibilities

  • Room patients and review or update medical histories, medications, and allergies
  • Accurately document visit details and transcribe office and procedure notes in EMA
  • Communicate clearly with patients to understand and document visit concerns
  • Assist providers with dermatologic procedures and treatments
  • Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and supplies
  • Provide patients with clear post visit instructions including wound care and treatment plans
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
  • Collaborate closely with providers and clinic staff to support smooth clinic flow
  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail in every patient interaction

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high quality patient care
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfort with computer systems and willingness to learn clinic specific software
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team oriented environment
  • Interest in long term growth within dermatology


Schedule and Location

  • Available to work a minimum of 24-32 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Clinic hours range between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Availability for training opportunities in Duluth, Minnesota as needed
