Position Summary
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner to federal health agencies. We are exploring the addition of an experienced Senior Financial Analyst who can provide strategic financial analysis and advisory support to Veterans Health Administration (VHA) leadership, ensuring effective stewardship of public funds and alignment with federal financial standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced financial analyses to support VHA transformation and modernization initiatives
  • Develop detailed cost estimates and budget projections to inform strategic and operational decision-making
  • Support financial planning, execution, and monitoring activities in compliance with applicable federal financial regulations and policies
  • Analyze financial management processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, transparency, and fiscal accountability
  • Evaluate compliance with federal accounting standards, internal control requirements, and relevant government guidance
  • Prepare and support the delivery of milestone reports, executive briefings, and decision-support materials for key stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in financial management, analysis, or budgeting
  • Demonstrated experience supporting federal agencies or large healthcare systems, preferably the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and/or the Veterans Health Administration (VHA)
  • Working knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, federal financial management regulations, and internal control frameworks
  • Ability to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
  • Ability to obtain a public trust
