We are looking for experienced IT Program/Project Manager to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. This is a fast paced, challenging, and rewarding experience in which you are able to provide solutions on one of the most complex and high profile programs within this community.
We are looking for an IT Program/Project Manager to oversee and execute complex colocation projects, including Mission Partner new hosting, migrations, expansions, decommissions and custom solutions within our Data Center facilities. This role ensures successful delivery of professional services engagements, while maintaining high client satisfaction and meeting business objectives. Specific duties/skills may include the following:
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution and delivery for colocation Mission Partners
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocations
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal staff and external vendors
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Mission Partner projects
- Conduct project kick-off meetings and set clear expectations
- Manage Mission Partner communications and expectations throughout project lifecycle
- Ensure Mission Partner satisfaction and resolve escalations, as needed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Mission Partner stakeholders
- Coordinate with Service Mangers, Technical Specialists and Physical Installation Team for implementation of Mission Partner requirements
- Ensure proper documentation of technical specifications and configurations
- Review and approve technical designs and implementation plans
- Oversee quality assurance processes for project deliverables
- Collaborate with business team to scope and price professional services engagements
- Participate in Mission Partner meetings to provide project expertise
- Identify opportunities for additional services within existing Mission Partner base
- Develop and maintain project management methodologies and best practices
- Create and update documentation for processes and procedures
- Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure compliance with AEDC standards and policies
